A fire broke out overnight in Rishon Letzion when police arrived at the scene, they found hundreds of car tires burning in an open area. Fire fighters operated alongside municipal workers to extinguish the blaze. No injuries were reported.

According to a report In Reshet Bet, 12 government ministers have requested to participate in the central bonfire lighting in Meron this evening, Lag b'Omer. A young child aged Ine was found unconscious in his home in Beit Shemesh this morning by his parents.Shlomo Kop, a volunteer with United Hatzalah, attempted to resuscitate the child. "According to the family, the child didn't wake up this morning.
