Sirens sounded in central Israel and in the Shfela region

<p>The IDF Spokesperson's Unit said that sirens were sounded in several areas in central Israel following a projectile that was launched from Yemen. The details are under review.</p>

<p>The IDF Spokesperson's Unit stated, "Following the sirens that sounded a short while ago, a projectile that was launched from Yemen was intercepted prior to crossing into Israeli territory."</p><p>"Rocket and missile sirens were sounded following the possibility of falling shrapnel from the interception."</p>

<p>Attorney Gilad Yitzhak Bar-Tal, who represents the families of the female lookouts who were murdered at the Nahal Oz outpost on October 7, 2023, responded to the radio recordings of the lookouts which were provided by the IDF.</p><p>"The IDF provided the families of the lookouts with only partial recordings. The disappointment is immense and unbearable. Unfortunately, the IDF continues its disgraceful conduct towards the families of the female soldiers," said Attorney Bar-Tal.</p>

<p>Magen David Adom stated that following the sirens that were heard in central Israel and the southern Negev, as of now, no reports of casualties have been received, except for cases of anxiety and people who were injured while heading to a shelter.</p>

A member of the Houthi political bureau, Hazam al-Assad, said after the missile launch from Yemen, "We will not stop until the aggression against the residents of Gaza stops."
